The "D" series Tractors always had a issue with the throttle linkage lever getting loose, or the thottle bore in the Carburetors prematurely wearing out. This new throttle shaft replaces any slop in the throttle linkage to the Carburetor because of a worn out lever or bent shaft.  Replace your sloppy accelerator linkage with this new throttle shaft on your "D" series Tractors. Always use the Carburetor number for correct replacement parts!
Note: This thottle shaft will not fix a loose throttle bore issue. The throttle bore on the Carburetor will need to be repaired first by being sleeved. The new throttle shaft can then be replaced if the lever or long shaft is bent.
