For those owners with Variable Speed AC and Simplicity Tractors, we now stock the correct replacement bearing that presses into the half pulley assy and shift retainer shown. (retainer for display only) Our bearing replaces the discontinued Briggs bearing # 2164048SM. We also offer bearing service, pulling your old bearing off the half pulley and retainer and pressing our new bearing in place on the half pulley and pressing the retainer back on the bearing. 1701-16 Variable Speed Bearing Assy (Bearing Only)
We offer a bearing service for those GT owners that do not have the correct press and puller tools to remove and replace these bearings. Here at B&B we will pull the old bearing off the half pulley, press the bearing out of the shift retainer, clean up all surfaces, spray all components with dry graphite lube, and press our new bearing on the half pulley and press the restored retainer back on our new replacement bearing.
